There are a few special dates to keep in mind for this coming week.
May 6th: Material Pick-Up Day: 5th Graders will not have any extra materials to pick up however, memory books will be distributed this day as well. There are some extra memory books available for $20 if you did not pre-order one. Please check with the office when you pick up materials if you would like to purchase a memory book.

4:00-6:00 - S-Z
May 8th: District wide parade. Please check the email sent by Mrs. Schultz earlier in the week to check the time and the route of the parade.
There will be a slight schedule change beginning Friday May 8th. For the remainder of the school year, Friday’s will be considered a catch up day for students who have assignments they made need to still complete. There will be no new assignments scheduled for this day.
In math this week we have been working on data analysis. Student have been learning about landmark data(mean, median, mode, range) , line plots, and frequency tables. We will continue learning about using different types of graphs for reporting data next week. We will test on this chapter Thursday, May 14th.
In science we are continuing to discuss Forces of Motion. We will be taking a short quiz on Wednesday before moving on to the second part of this chapter, Newton’s Laws of Motion.
Students are continuing to work on Chapter10 and will be ready to take their test shortly.
In Language students are continuing to work on their famous person report. I have heard some good things about the outlines that have already been handed in. Some students are now working on their rough drafts.

Friday: Huskie Spirit Day-support our Huskies, wear Huskie gear-honor our families/community--Huskies pull together....
