We have another busy week ahead of us. On Monday and Tuesday afternoon we will have Science MCA testing from 1 - 2:30. On Tuesday, we will also have our last class of the year with Officer Gannon. There is also an informational band meeting for next year on Wednesday, May 8th at 6:30pm in the BEAT.
In math last week students worked on creating and completing function tables. Students also solved various inequalities. We will be reviewing for the test on Monday and Tuesday, and then will test on Wednesday.
Students are continuing to work on their research report. At this point, students should be typing their rough draft in Google Classroom. Please take time to have your child share his/her report with you. They have learned many interesting facts about their famous person through their research. The final copy is due on Tuesday, May 15th.
In science we are working on building simple machines with our kits. Students have been able to experiment with different types of levers, and how changes to these levers can change how effectively it works. We will continue to experiment with other simple machines throughout the week. Students will be beginning a new chapter in social studies this week. In reading, students are continuing to work on the novel The Sign of the Beaver.
