Just a reminder to please complete the attendance form on “Fix-It” Friday’s.
Thank You!
In math this week we have continued our work on data analysis. On Tuesday students completed a mid-chapter check reviewing skills such as mean, median, mode, and range. On Wednesday, students worked on finding the scales and intervals of various graphs and then using this information to complete them. On Thursday, students worked on interpreting information on single and double bar graphs. Students will test on this unit Wednesday, May 13th.
In science we finished up the first part of our Forces of Motion chapter discussing work and power. Students then took a short quiz reviewing concepts such as the types of motion, speed and velocity, gravity, magnetism, and gravity. On Thursday, students began learning about net forces which will lead us into learning about Newton’s Laws of Motion next week.
Students are preparing for a social studies test. There is a Quizziz game in Google Classroom students can play for review. On Tuesday, students will be taking the Chapter 10 test.
In reading students are coming close to the end of their Literature Circle group novels Students should also be working on their famous person rough draft, and finalizing them with Mrs. Snoberger to then move onto completing their final copy.
